Christian-Trail| Extending forward, I continue the objective

And Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the portion of the king's food, nor with the wine that he drank; He asked, therefore, the head of the eunuchs not to force himself to be contaminated.
Daniel 1: 8

In life there are many exceptional people who have made a difference, not following the common flow but have identified with a purpose and have persevered until reaching the goal.

The Daniel of the Bible, without a doubt, is one of those characters who maintained his integrity before God in the midst of the "Babylonian Empire" that had taken him captive to him and his entire generation. Daniel's goal was to maintain his firm ethical, moral and spiritual principles. Like every slave, he had no right of his own to desist from what they demanded of him.

In the face of such adversity, Daniel did something that is what I want to mention in this publication: "He proposed in his heart" not to be contaminated by the King's demands that were against the spiritual values that his parents had instilled in him. It seems impossible, right? Nonetheless he succeeded throughout his life when he firmly determined to reach the goal.

How do i do it? There is an explanation for Daniel and for all those who have left no trace in the story:

Each one of these put their heart in what they were doing and committed themselves to the goal they had determined. They did not care about the cons, the difficulties or the problems they might have to face, they knew where they wanted to go and nothing was going to stop them until they achieved it.

But in all this it is necessary to highlight "Perseverance".

The apostle Paul mentioned perseverance as a fundamental element to grow in the work of God, his words of encouragement were: "Be firm and persevering, lacking in the work of God always." This applies to everything in life, if we want to obtain great results, we will have to work on that with dedication, firmness and perseverance.

When Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon set the standards of what the slaves had to do, Daniel put all his heart in pleasing God before that to men. And God gave him his grace and favor for which he could sustain over time.

Do you want to maintain your decisions over time and achieve the goals you set for yourself? Propose it in your heart, put in that objective all your mind, all your will, and all your passion.

Brethren, I do not pretend to have reached it myself; but one thing I do: forgetting what is left behind, and extending to what is ahead, I press on to the goal, to the prize of the supreme calling of God in Christ Jesus.
