Assisted suicide
This is a touchy discussion that can develop many disputes. But, I think we can have some thoughts about this sensitive subject.
First of all it is very hard to decide this, because it depends on which part of the subject you are. If you need to decide for someone that you love, this can be a painful decision but on the other hand, that person consider this as a last wish. Next is how we decide, as humans, when someone deserve to die? We can have a committee to establish this, but is it human? Is is possible that some people to stay at a desk and discuss about is you are ready to die? This is something that we can only think about it.
One last point on this debate is about people that are able to give their consent for their death. This, also can be strange because we do not know when a person is lucid if that person is in the position of deciding whether to live or die. And this can affect many people around, just thinking about maybe they will be in that situation once. Just thinking about on that place, someone will die for sure on that day.
I do not have an opinion about this, but, I think that we should listen those person carefully and if they are talking about living, or dying.

I wish I had a better grasp of the backstory behind this post, because it is not something we think about every day.
My mother's friend threw herself off a cliff earlier this week- minutes before midnight on December 31, 2017, to be precise. She didn't want to see 2018 now that her son abandoned her and her ex-husband is in jail. But she survived, and now there is a long road to recovery ahead of her.
I tell this story not because she was "assisted" in the sense that someone pushed her from the cliff, but rather because all suicide victims are "assisted" in some way- there is always some driver that pushes them over the edge, literally or figuratively. Sometimes, words can be even more dangerous than poison.
There is no story behind this, it is just a sensible subject that once can change our life. And the problem is that we did not think about this every day but we should have it in mind. I saw many stories regarding this subject and once, a man who had cancer asked a friend to have a syringe with some poison every time he comes to visit him, and when the pains will become very high to give him that syringe. And this is a story that makes you think. That man really wants to die, but there was no legal possibilities, or maybe if he asked for that, he would have been considered crazy. So, if you think that you can make what you want, think twice.
