The view from our backyard

We used to see her everyday herding the goats. My daughter and niece called her "lola" even they don't know them personally. And she always smile and answer their questions cheerfully. So sad to hear she just passed away.

This reminds me that the life we have today is not ours. We can never tell when,where or how it will end. Death is not easy for everyone especially for those who will be left. It will be hard to start everything when someone you used to be with suddenly disappear. The pain still remain no matter how long time passed. Maybe we don't understand,but we have to move on. You grieve until the pain goes away,but even time passed, you still missed them. Those times you spend with them. The memories you had still remains. You have to go on with your normal life and hide the pain. Maybe that' s how life goes. Just treasure the borrowed times and remember all the memories--what they teached you, how they become good to you, how they helped you and those priceless moment that can't be taken from you.

Life is unpredictable. What is constant in this world is change. They may be gone but will not be forgotten.

Dear lola, I know you're in God's loving arms now. May you rest in peace.
