Maspalomas, Gran Canaria
Mit dem Bus sind wir heute nach Maspalomas, Gran Canaria gefahren. Entlang der Küste gab es schon einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer.
In Maspalomas angekommen, konnte man viele Hotels bestaunen, die atemberaubende aussahen.
Aber nicht nur das, auch der Weg zum Strand war wunderschön.
Für unsere Orientierung war Leuchtturm sehr hilfreich.
Im Jahr 1890 wurden zum ersten Mal die Lichter des Leuchtturms entzündet. Heute, mehr als 125 Jahre steht das Bauwerk für die Ingenieurskunst. Im restaurierten Turm findet man heutzutage eine Touristik-Informationsstelle.
Entlang des Meeres gingen wir dann in die Richtung der bekannteste Dünen von Gran Canaria. Allerdings haben wir die Dünen nur aus der Ferne betrachtet, das es uns für einen Spaziergang bis in die Dünen einfach zu heiß war.
Dennoch sind die Dünen atemberaubend.Über eine Länge von 6 Kilometer und eine Breite von 2 Kilometern erstreckt sich dieses riesige Sandareal zwischen Playa del Ingles und dem Leuchtturm von Maspalomas! Innerhalb von Europa gibt es nichts vergleichbares – zumindest nichts was die flächenmäßige Ausdehnung anbelangt.
