Over the sea, the crispy morning air brisk cold to my skin.
The rising sun gives me the gift of hope.
The birds ask if rain has stopped
Replies confirm the resounding "yes"
The winds blow gentle
With only the intent to be noticed

The flies emerge with buzzing glee
As the final droplets of rain
Pull away from the tips of the pines
Dropping one by one
On the curious grass
Inviting the water in silence
Morning with this sunrise, shall become a day of pure bliss.
