A New Life

We are reborn as Christian into a new life when we come to accept Christ as our Lord and savior. The Bible says our life of old is past and that our present begins a new life, one that is of Christ. One the seeks to reflect our new status and our faith, one devoid of sin and the ways of the world, one seeks not only to reform us but the people that surrounds us too.

Romans 6:4, Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

So what is this new life that we ought to seek or ought to be our new priority. The new life is the life of Christ. Christian from the word Christ means we are Christ-like, we we do what our master does, we follow in his steps, where he stepped we step. Christ is perfect, Christ is righteous, Christ is without blemish, Christ is the virtue of the father and so this is what ought to define us as Christians.

And so even as we are dead to the old us and reborn in the new us crucified and resurrected with Christ, let us seek to be a quintessential of Christ in our daily lives that others may see Christ in us and be reformed by our deeds and actions.
