Why we depending now even more on the whales and the guild's, and why the price of Steem is so important!
Couple of weeks ago, when the price of Steem was way higher than it is now, my vote was worth close to 10 cents, and I had only less then the half of the Steempower what I have today. So if I do an upvote on a post today, its not even worth a cent anymore.
Here is an example how this looks like now:
232 Votes and only 76 cents! Thats why its so important that the Steemprice have to go up again! If the Steemprice is higher, the reward for this one would be way higher too!
So we need more people here on Steemit, that the demand of Steem goes up or maybe a better PR-Manager :) , look at this guys for example, they have more than a half-million sign-ups in 2 weeks! Check it out here.

better PR-Manager for sure . But the real problem is the infinite production of steem . I wonder if they can do a hard fork and slow the creation of steem or stop the creation of steem ?
yes but then what impetus to buy if it always free in te beginning. Then how much would really make a difference to collective curation and voting levels !! i paid good money for my steem i would be disappointed to see large levels of steem power being given to new accounts for no investment. But then tell me please what might be the benefits if indeed we decided to do this ?? i am sure you are kicking this can for some reason ?? )
The problem is that there is too many Steem are produced everyday. The amount of liquid Steem is growing and growing everyday. The price of Steem will ONLY going up, if the amount of liquid Steem starts to going down... So we could give more steem away for new users, or everybody could say, to get paid in 100% in SP for their posts , or whatever solution to reduce the amount of liquid Steem... My free Steem when i opened my account on the beginning was worth 18$ or so, now its 1,5$....understand my point?
well the only thing i feel new users should receive as opening currency is 100 steem power as anything lese is a potential leak to curation pool which needs clearly to go up !! so yeah maybe more SP new users and all post payout should pass to 100 steem power too !! No one should complain as it will be better for the long term balancing of the voting pool on stemit community

You need to spend more than 50 BTC to buy only silly Steem Power. Can you find that fool? Whales are powering down because even at this 'low' levels is still free money for them. Nobody from crypto community trust @dantheman anymore because he already did that before.
Last post from @dantheman 3 weeks ago, last STEEM transfer to Poloniex exchange - today, and he and his friends premined 80% of STEEM. What could possibly go wrong?
Bots are not a healthy addition to the Steemit ecosystem IMHO. We'd be better with 10000 real storytellers than a million bots.

Yeah its definitely to much , they could give away as well more steem for each new account, its only 1.5$ at the moment....
