Our Visit to the Fuengirola International Fair

Hello friends. We had the chance to visit this year's Fuengirola International Countries Fair. Known in Spanish as Feria de los Países, this fair was previously known as the Feria de los Pueblos. The fair had a high turnout with over thirty countries participating. Countries like Italy, Senegal and Sweden rejoined after a break and Lebanon made its debut this year.

The attractions and play areas set up for children were some of the most enjoyable parts of the fair. The spinning frogs and bumper cars captivated not only the kids but also us adults. We had a great time in this area feeling like kids again.

Live music was another key element that kept the energy of the fair high. The performances by various groups truly enlivened the atmosphere. And there were various snacks, sweets and savory treats that became quite popular. The combination of these flavors with the rhythm of the music made enjoying the fair even more delightful.

Each country's promotional stand offered a glimpse into its cultural richness and delicious cuisine. Every stand was impressively arranged to showcase its culture and food. It was truly fascinating to experience different flavors and traditional crafts at these stands.

In the Lebanon section the dance performance with wooden swords was quite striking. A male dancer dressed in traditional attire gave an impressive performance, followed by other dancers in national costumes. The area felt like a festive wedding celebration and we thoroughly enjoyed this energetic and colorful show.

One of the most memorable moments of the fair was at the Mexican stand. With an energetic performance by a female singer, everyone started dancing. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively providing great enjoyment for the visitors.

Every country’s stand had interesting and fun things to see. Exploring the richness of different cultures and experiencing this diversity was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the fair. We had a wonderful time and created unforgettable memories.
