A Typical Kenyan Village Life...
Is probably just as any other there.
We rear chickens, livestock and produce our own veggies and fruits. Not in all families though, but majority of them.
The best part?
The produce in the village is organic, super fresh and most of all, very cheap.
If I told you what you'd get for $50 you'd not believe it guys. However, seeing that it's the festive season, things can get a little more expensive than normal.
My parent have had quite a share in rearing chickens. It was part of our livelihood at some point in time. It's a lot of work I'll tell you that. But if you enjoy farming and it's just as any other hobby.
Currently this size of chicken is going between $5-$15 since it's almost Christmas. Normally goes for $5-$8 but this is the peak season for all businesses right?
I love this post because it shows more about your actual life. I didn’t know that there so many villages where you lived. There are some farms here too, but you would have to drive a long way to get there.
