Love this- I have taken photos of this, but always in colour, and even though it is almost monochrome in the flesh, the B&W picture really makes it 'pop'...
Thanks! I have really fallen in love with B&W photography of late, especially with things like this that have such rich textures.
Those are so pretty! With the white edges it's almost like a tree had a skirt :D

Yeah, knowing hwat day it is is always the hardest part of these things. Somehow I had missed Fungi Friday. But I always knew when I got you started here that it wouldn't take long for you to overtake me and leave me behind in the dust. ;-)
This is a fantastic shot of the fungi, it looks so cool in BnW rippling down the side of the tree. Great job! Merry Christmas
