Where does my help come from?
Great question when times of scarcity, famine, crisis, chaos and economic storms ensue.
When you have financial stability, you take life very sportsfully, very recreationally, because confidence is placed in finances. I remember that in my days as an active worker, I trusted that the fifteen and the last ones had enough finances to make your good market and buy clothes for your children and for the vacation part. Money was like a deceptive god who made you feel calm when the date to collect your salary approached.

This is a fictitious and feigned life, because the material is temporary and simply temporary. Now, everything has changed, now, I wonder where are the comforts that money gave me.
The times are relative, and now the circumstance is different, I do not have a job, I am retired and the time I have had to live is of economic and health crisis. There are not the comforts for a good meal, a good dress and good shoes. Everything is vanity. However, God as always with open arms teaching us that although the world is temporary, He remains forever.
When things are lacking, you look everywhere, and from above you hear a voice that alerts you and awakens you spiritually, and says: "I am your help." We must understand that our help is not earthly, our help comes from Jehovah who made heaven and earth.
Where does my help come from?
The psalmist said:
I will lift my eyes to the mountains; Where does my help come from? My help comes from Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.
Psalms 121: 1-2 New King James Version (NKJV)
It is clear and evident that our help comes from above, where the throne of God is established. It is not about putting trust in the things that are here under heaven, but in the one who is sitting on the heights of heaven.
God is the one who supplies all our needs. God gives us the power to make riches on earth. He gives us the skills and talents with which God gives grace so that we can obtain the necessary rewards and meet our needs. God is present in everything. God is in abundance as in crisis. God is our helper and will not give our feet to the slide, we must trust God, who will deliver us from all evil and from all scarcity.
Remember, "I will lift my eyes to the mountains, where my help will come from, my help comes from God."
