In Company with God
Perhaps sometime or many times you have felt in the emptiness of loneliness and it seems that in the middle of that lonely desert, nothingness envelops you. Surely there are deceptive thoughts that you do not matter to anyone, not even to your own family. Perhaps you think deeply that you are so lonely that not even God himself can see you. I tell you then, that you are very wrong, for since we are Christians, the presence of God becomes our most intimate and sweetest companion. The Lord Jesus, before ascending to heaven, gave a command to his disciples to announce and preach the Gospel throughout the world and assured them of his presence every day until the end of time. Be of good cheer, for God is your companion in the difficult time you may be living in.
Go therefore and make disciples of[a] all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end[b] of the age[c]. "Matthew 28: 19-20"

True, it is such wonderful news that Jesus is with us every day. No matter how pleasant or unpleasant the moment you are experiencing, what really matters is that God's presence and companionship is with you. You can talk to Him confidently and tell Him about the unpleasant situation you are facing right now. The ear of the Lord is ready to listen to you. You know you can't see Him because He is simply a beautiful spiritual being. God is like the gentle breeze that caresses your face, you can't see it, but you can feel it. God said he would walk with his disciples in the different directions they moved. God promised not to turn away from them. I encourage you, my reader friend, to trust this precious friend who walks with you. He is someone very kind and very respectful. When you enter your bedroom, do not think that you will sleep alone, for beside you, the Lord will lie down with you until you fall asleep and then He will cover you so that darkness will not envelop you. God will not leave you, much less forsake you. Trust fully that His presence is inexhaustible and that He covers you completely until He envelops your being with love.

The Lord knows all your problems and needs. God wants you to bring to his feet all the problems that worry you. If anyone wants the best for his children, it is precisely God. So, my friend, today I remind you that there is a very intimate companionship with you, which is the presence of God. If you look out the window of your room and observe your garden, He is in that beautiful place to call your attention and tell you that He created everything for you, so that you can enjoy it and understand that He is everywhere. Take strength and courage, because the one who loves you, promised to be with you, all the days of your life. Love life as God loves you.
