It is important that we understand that our God is a God who likes to work new things in the life of his people. In this sense, we should not look for in this new year that God does in us what he did in recent years. The past things were left behind.

"Do not remember the former things, nor remember the old things" (Isaiah 43: 18)

In the days of captivity, the land of Israel was deserted and empty. People in a foreign land under the power of the Babylonian Empire, remained for seven decades in situations of repentance and sadness. The sufferings and sufferings of the people of Israel in captivity, were about to come to an end. Now, people are required to forget the things of the past and not bring them into the present, because God's new season for his people was about to begin. God would give back to his people, to the land of his inheritance, and this is what happened.

A new time begins: God promises new things.

"Behold, I am doing something new, it will soon come to light, you will not know, I will again make my way in the desert and rivers in solitude" (Isaiah 43:19).

When the people of Israel returned from captivity, 70 years had passed, and the land of their inheritance was deserted and in chaos. God again opened the way for them to rebuild the city and the temple. The springs returned to occupy their places, the rivers and torrents occupied their spaces and the land returned to its productivity. God had promised to do new things and break new ground in the new season of his people in the land of their inheritance.

Dear brother, if God did it with his people Israel, he will also do it with his beloved church. He will do new things with you and with the whole church of the steward. This is the year of God for his church in all the earth and for our country Venezuela.

God transforms all desert and loneliness

"The beasts of the field will honor me, the jackals and the ostrich chickens, for I will give waters in the desert, rivers in solitude, so that my people may drink, my chosen one" (Isaiah 43:20)

How interesting, the deserted and lonely land, now flows springs, which bring freshness and quench the thirst of both the people of God and the beasts of the field. Where there was no way, God opened the way, where there was loneliness and drought, God gushed springs.

Our faith leads us to believe God, that this will happen for his church in this new season that only begins. Remember, who creates, everything is possible. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

In this new year we will hear from God new things.

"You've heard it and you've seen it all, and you're not going to announce it?" Now, I have made you hear new and hidden things that you did not know "(Isaiah 48: 6).

When Israel returned from captivity and again occupied their inheritance, they all heard from the prophets that the Lord would make when they returned to their land, that is what they saw. All the new things that God had promised, that's what happened.

What you hear from God in this new year, even if they are hidden things you do not know, so God will bring them to light in this year 2019. We will feel more joy when we announce the new things that God will do with us. Great and wonderful things. No matter the desert and loneliness; Because God will give waters in the desert and rivers in solitude in this year 2019. Hallelujah!

What I hear from God in this new year, that will happen. Beware of listening to things that do not come from God. The words of men are carnal, but if they come from God, they will have a positive effect on our spiritual and material lives. Remember what your mouth says how you will receive. If you speak blessings, you will receive blessings and if you speak differently, we will not see the good of God this year.
