Education: Discover your family relationship style.
Source
Introduction
Several studies have been carried out on how families relate to each other in privacy and their results show that there are great differences in the way they relate.
My role as a parent and educator has led me to recognize that styles of family relationships generate patterns of behavior that in one way or another impact the lives of our children.
For this reason, we will review four styles of family relationships, so that parents, adults and young people of blockchain can obtain tools that allow us to improve our family relationships and satisfy the points of attention that justify it.
Do you know the permissive style?
It is characterized by the following:
- Parents provide high emotional support and very little control with their children.
- Parents are willing to listen to their children, to talk with them, but they are practically not restricted.
- Children of permissive parents tend to be creative and original, but with a tendency to feelings of insecurity.

Do you know the negligent style?
It is characterized by the following:
- Parents are extremely lax in discipline and, in addition, are not willing to spend time with their children, listen to them or encourage them.
- Parents see children as a burden or an obstacle to moving forward with their own lives.
- The children of negligent parents are not usually carriers of the best emotional inheritance.
- Children of negligent parents receive freedom too soon and parents do not care what they do with that freedom.
- The children of negligent parents have little capacity to establish good interpersonal relationships and the tendency to suffer from low self-esteem.

Do you know the authoritarian style?
Let's review its characteristics:
- Parents offer their children very little emotional support; however, they want to control their behavior very closely by imposing very strict standards.
- Parents maintain absolute control of power.
- The children of authoritarian parents do not seem to benefit from the autocracy of the parents.
- In the young people who come from authoritarian families, according to the studies carried out, a greater participation in the crime and aggression indices was observed than in any of the other indicators.
- Children of authoritarian parents often suffer from a bad self-concept and develop a negative attitude towards the ideas and beliefs of their parents.

Do you know the style of democratic relationship?
Let's review its characteristics:
- Parents exercise control over their children, but at the same time offer significant emotional support.
- When making decisions, parents allow their children to have an important part, which provides a good attitude of dialogue in the family.
- In this style, the last decision corresponds to the parents, but not before having analyzed the other positions.
- Children of democratic parents experience satisfying feelings about themselves and have a positive attitude toward parents' values.

In general, the democratic relationship style is the most desirable and positive, from my personal point of view, and according to most of the sociological studies that are being carried out in this regard. However, your friend reader is free to issue your own criteria.
