What's lacking on Steemit?

Most of the content on Steemit is either related to announcement of cryptocurrency, coins giveaway, personal blogging. Though on other blogging platforms like medium and Tumblr, the main type of content is something you can learn and build. As a result, a large number of developers find those platform helpful when looking for getting started with certain things. But on steemit, firstly a large section of the community has nothing to do with development, and less content is present for making things and learning about it.

There is a need for writing content on building things, technology, working with project in different languages, different ways of confiuguring system. I understand that the foundation of steemit is on crypto, for increasing userbase all these topics have to be accommodated.

Being a developer and open source enthusiast, my focus here would be to write on around below mentioned topics.

• operating system
• configuring system
• linux sysadmin stuff
• kernel
• crypto (in general)
• github projects

My motive is to make steemit a platform, which even developers can use in their day to day workflow and fill it with their own development stories.
