I got to work today and focused on my ‘to do’ list I’d made. I was so deep into what I was doing, that when 9 AM rolled around, I never heard my coworker knocking to get in! I just happened to be heading up front and saw her.

Once I got her started on a few things, I returned to the task at hand. 10 AM rolled around and Dawn- one of my favorite frame reps, stopped by for her appointment with me. Once that was concluded, I went back to my projects.

One PM rolled around and my first time contact lens training arrived for her appointment with me. Successfully done! It was about then that I wondered if I’d eaten, lol! I looked beside my printer to discover the protein bar I’d brought was still there untouched! It was now almost 2 PM.

I figured I’d best eat. 😋 More training for my new employee and once she was settled into another task, I went back to my own. And so the day progressed. No drama; no real stress. It was nice to get some things done. 😎

Tomorrow’s appointments begin at noon as the doc here this week had an appointment he couldn’t change, so we rearranged his schedule at the clinic. Going forth, I’m not going to leave it to the owner/doctor to tell me who’s working what week. I’m going to bug both of them! If what they tell me doesn’t match, then I’ll at least head off the potential disaster before it happens! 👍
