My Actifit Report Card: March 13 2021
Hey there everybody and thanks for stopping by!
We had plans today to go get propane for our roasters. The local feed store runs a Saturday special on propane at a $1.89 per gallon. That is super cheap compared to others at $2.99 a gallon! So off we went. We also got some gas for the generators to have on hand. It is spring and storms often blow up out of nowhere. Better to be prepared!
Once home, I began working on systems updates for my Mac Air, my Windows computer and my iPhone. I also backed up @silvertop’s computer as well. All of these updates took the better part of the afternoon. At 4 pm we headed out to hike.
Jan wasn’t with us as she had other commitments for the day. Everybody was out and about-busy with burning brush, planting trees, working on construction projects and hiking enjoying the outdoors! It was a balmy spring day-close to 60 degrees.
@actifit-lamb and her entire family was along for the hike as well. They couldn’t wait to get out in the forest! We stopped at the bench down in Bear Hollow for a little play time.
They were enjoying the fresh air and the view.
They had a lot of fun!
On the way down, we ran into Joan, and then Chris. It was nice to chat a little. Closer to home we ran into a gal whom we all thought was long gone. It’s a long and sad story but she brings people with her that you don’t want in the neighborhood and she doesn’t live here anymore. So it leaves all of wondering what she’s really up to. I suppose time will tell.
Being as it was dark and she has no vehicle nor license to drive, it kind of makes you wonder why she walked all that distance near dark and came to a place where she can’t possibly stay.
That’s gonna be it for now. I’ll leave you with a picture of Cot from last night. He was being sleepy-silly!
