Achievement 1 post: My Introduction To Steemit

Hello Steemit

My name's Elisha Nyong,a Nigerian-African,age 25,graduate of fine and Industrial Arts; Art Historian in training and prospective academic. My flair for art has been the backbone of my quest to becming a renowned Art Historian, philosopher and surrealist.

I mostly love art through medieval history; like the Renaissance era,the Baroque style; art movements like academicism,mannerism, Surrealism -which coincidentally is my forte as a professional artist in praxis.

The works of Da Vinci, Dalí, Ernst, André Breton, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Michelangelo Buonarotti,etc; are some of fondest collection of art from the modernist era and the foundation for my thirst to know and fully comprehend the philosophy of art, become my own bohemian like Picasso or Monet or Matisse,as Picasso's symbolism on cubism stands as on of the most revolutionary tide.

Through time,I've had a fair exposure to crypto currency, as it the store of value of the new world. My earnest desire is to ply my fondest dreams,which is being an art Historian and Surrealist,through the steemit platform,while being appreciated by the various communities the platform avails to me.

I particularly love Painting Surreal art, portraiture ( which is do as commissions), writing journal articles for academic magazines ( with three already published within my four years as a professional in art praxis . I enjoy Surrealism in visual art because it gives me adept sight of a world beyond the mundane, an insight on something metaphysical,like Plato's world of forms.

Surrealism gives me this boundless canvas to fully explore my mnemonic library which the belief system of taboos and superstition which I've been exposed to through time relative, have subdued and repressed. I love the feeling of being without rules in creating, as I strongly dislike the idea of being too mundane to grasp phenomenons beyond the physical plane. As my belief system, I'm more of spiritual person who believes in spiritual growth more than inclination to religious doctrines.

I believe one ought to develop a refined communion with the a superior deity, a comic authority and well,the universe as a whole; as I believe existentialism is beyond the planes of material objects and bigotry; hence,I'm deeply pained with educated people subject their intellect to the confines of religious or cultural bigotry,almost a way of repressing philosophy,logic,mannerism and value ethics .

I hope someday I become an authority in art, enough to help people discover their creative identity by engaging a series of creative awakening exercises which feeds their creative pool.

In consonant with my desires,I hope I will have access to "experiences" on the steemit platform from history majors, artists and indeed,the creative community as a whole and I hope to contribute my quota by sharing knowledge on art history, gallery representation, art praxis and surrealism in visual arts.
