The Diary Game || A Journey to My Village after a very long Time || by @elian23khan || 05-04-2022

Hello guys!
Have you ever taken a faith journey? I guess if you are in the NW or SW Regions, going to your village, i.e. if it is heavily affected by this deliberate war, will require such great unchecked faith.
Yesterday, I braved the ought and went to my village. How pleasant it was for me to walk through the alleys of my homeland! Although with my heart beating 💓 around my waist, I could feel the inexpressible joy coexisting in the same organ. I wonder how fear and joy could coexist anyway.

Morning

I greeted the dawn with enthusiasm and with feelings of heaviness in my heart, imagining what my fate could be in the the village. This kept me wondering around the corners of the house doing nothing than contemplate. This resulted to my siblings laughing at me 🤣🤣 saying I am behaving as "bad money in the pocket." That, meant nothing to me though...
By 8:48 am, I left the house trusting my life and everything to God. And as usual, I told them "if God grant grace for me to come back home, we will meet in the evening, but if not, know that there's another life that is better and longer than this and that is in the presence of God." We both laughed together, and I drove off.
Passing through Ndamukong, I picked up my friend with whom we were traveling together. As we drove along, I was amazed that we shared the same feeling concerning the journey. It was so exciting knowing that I wasn't the lone person who was afraid of going to the village.
We arrived Santa by 10 am and decided to park the car there and continue the journey on a bike since many people will not notice a bike as they will a car.
By 11:30, we arrived our destination. While there, it was fun seeing the new developments in the village and sad noticing that some of the people with whom we grew up together were no more. I visited and had fun with some friends. This helped us to do some catch ups concerning the latest developments in our individual lives and community.

Afternoon

By afternoon, I visited one of my aunt's compound and stumbled on a flower that was so beautiful and I couldn't help myself than to reached out my hand from ripping out a branch from it.

You know one thing that makes a man is his attachment and attraction to beauty. Men easily connect to that which is beautiful and flowers are symbolic. You know it is often said that nature is a reflection of the heart and a means of communication to those who see beyond what the eyes sees. Imagine breaking the highway code just to communicate with a flower that exist in your heart through out your journey, just to stumble on a plant that so much appeals to your soul, won't you feel like to do a dedication to the one the connection is all about. Nature is truly the mother of destiny and a prophet I guess.

Evening

Though the journey was stressful, we finally arrived home safe and sound, full of dust at about 8 pm in the night. If you have ever tasted the value of water after a busy day, then you will understand my feeling in the shower 🚿. The day enter very well with lots of memories.
