UNTIL THE LAST INSTANT
Blessed are we who have as Lord a loving God, a God who shows his children the great love with which he loves them. That love that surpasses our understanding and that is demonstrated every second.

When Jesus walked on this earth and taught people he marveled at his words, however, I believe that the most wonderful thing about Jesus was the love he had for people in need.
How well he said it came to seek and save what was lost, regardless of whether it implied the contempt of the "religious", the criticism of those who thought themselves good or the rudeness of those who did not accept their way of inviting the people to approach God.
One of the episodes that from my point of view reflects how Jesus had love for the needy even in the last seconds of his life is the one that happened while on the same cross of Calvary. Jesus is there crucified, dying slowly, shedding his blood so that we can be forgiven of our sins. Beside him are two malefactors, who are being crucified for their wrongdoing unlike Jesus who had been unjustly crucified.
Anyone who had observed that picture would think that those two evildoers were being justly crucified, perhaps no one would believe in their repentance and no matter how much they regretted they would not avoid death on that cross. However, the faith of one of them led him to reach the love of Jesus, that forgiving and saving love.
The Bible says: "And one of the evildoers who were hanged insulted him, saying: If you are the Christ, save yourself and us. Responding to the other, he rebuked him, saying: Do you not even fear God, being in the same condemnation? We, indeed, suffer, because we received what our deeds deserved; but this one did no evil. And he said to Jesus: Remember me when you come into your kingdom. Then Jesus said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." Luke 23: 39-43 (Reina-Valera 1960). Reading that episode excites me, knowing that there was a person right there who had condemned his wrongdoing to that death, a person who maybe was not well seen by anyone, had lost his credit to others, his family as better he was ashamed of him, his friends might have turned their backs on him, he had spent his last days living in the wrong way, stealing or carrying out criminal offenses, but even on his deathbed he has enough faith to believe that The man who was being crucified by his side was really the King of kings, that man has more merit than we do, because he believed in someone who was also dying right there, that man is an example of true faith, to believe without seeing, for that reason He deserved an award produced by the incomprehensible love of God, Jesus loved him right there and opened the doors of paradise. That nobody believed in him or that no one had believed in his repentance, that same man found in Jesus what no one could give him, that man found in Jesus the love that our Lord has for all those we need, Jesus showed that he could give love even in his last seconds of life on earth.
Having a loving God who gives life to the one who is dead even when he is alive fills me with great satisfaction and at the same time motivates me to be a carrier and practitioner of that love.
Let's live each day loving those in need, do not judge them instead, let's love them, reflect the love that Jesus had for us, teach him with love the right way and introduce him to that God who loves them no matter his condition or his actions, because He is wonderful to forgive and transform lives.
Today I want to invite you to proclaim with your life the love that God has had for you, live in such a way that people speak well of God through you, that people seeing you can see in you the reflection of God's love.
We have a loving God, who accepts those whom the world despises, forgives those whom the world judges, and who loves those whom the world hates, and you and I are part of God's beloved.
Thank you God for your incomparable love!
