The 1st day of #Wolrds just went by and with it, winners rose and losers... well, lost pretty much that's why tournaments are held and now we're gonna recap the results and some highlights to keep the hype alive, HELL YEAH!

1ST MATCH

The first match of the day was between NA 3rd seed C9 against BR champions KMB, C9 was the favorite to win this match-up and it went in their way thanks to the early picks of C9 's support C9 Zeyzal with Leona countering completely KBM's Pyke (bad choise dude), in terms of macro play KBM looked outclassed, they had a kill here and there but in the end, the game went C9's way after this insane 3v1 from C9's C9 Licorice on Aatrox

2ND MATCH

The second match of the day was between the champion from the CIS GMB and LMS' third seed GRX, this was a close one but GRX Empt2y's Skarner pushed an early lead for his team and in the end GMB could do nothing against GRX's huge frontline on GRX PK's Urgot(looking at you GMB Kira stop ulting Urgot FFS) and fed carries

3RD MATCH

A bit sloppy and back and forth was the match of Japanese champions DFM against KBM, kills and objectives, where traded all around the map and teamfights were common, but it all ends by a decisive Baron steal by DFM Yutapon on Varus who guaranteed the victory for his team

4TH MATCH

GRX faced LASchampions KLG, it started well for them secure First Blood and winning early skirmishes, but the superior macro play and teamfight synchronization from GRX lead to a 16-2 stomp giving us plays like this one

5TH MATCH

DFM fought C9 for the fifth match and oh boy, this was a close one, dominating from the beginning DFM out-macro'd and out-played (talking about you C9 Blaber you know you can sidestep Urgot's ult, right?)C9 in every turn, the game was staled and enter the late game where on the brink of defeat C9 Licorice on Lissandra flanked the enemy team for a fateful teamfight that secured the victory for the NA squad

6TH MATCH

Last match of the day was a dominating performance by GMB, teamfight after teamfight demonstrated the superior knowledge adn skill inside the game it was another crushing defeat for the South American squad (but not as but as the first one, that one was oof, get yourself together KLG)

It seems C9 and GRX have a breather after winning both games but DFM and *GBM may threaten their first places and in the last places *KBM and KLG may expect a miracle or at least play spoiler for the leading teams, we'll have to wait for the rest of the Round-Robin to finish to see what will happen and who will pass to the Knock-out stage of the Play-In (except for KBM and KLG that are pretty much fucked up)
