เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่า ฮาลา-บาลา #HALBALA#

เป็นพื้นที่อนุรักษ์แห่งใหม่ของประเทศไทย ได้รับการประกาศจัดตั้งอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2539 อันเป็นแนวชายแดนไทย-มาเลเซีย มีพื้นที่ประมาณ 270,725 ไร่ ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ทิวเขาสันกาลาคีรี ป่าฮาลาและป่าบาลาเป็นผืนป่าดงดิบที่ไม่ต่อเนื่องกัน แต่ได้รับการประกาศเป็นเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าเดียวกัน
