I love Huichol lace beading, and usually just make small mandala style...but I really like to add Dentalium shells too.
So these are Miyuki 11/0 round beads, Dent shells, Citrine and Almandine Garnet...

Huichol art is beautiful! My mother makes sure to bring me some pretties every year when she visits our tobacco plantations in Nayarit. So lovely!

Yes, my whole family does. We own the land and lease some out and the rest we sow for companies here in the States and Mexico through TABAMEX. Many Huichol and Kora Indians work for us every season, always enjoy learning through them! I'll be writing about this tomorrow on my blog haha thank you for the idea!
