Conflicts. Quarrels, aggression, offensive words ...

Unfortunately, we all come across them almost every day. They arise between family members, work colleagues, friends, acquaintances and so on.

There are also intrapersonal conflicts that are inside and disturb us.
I want to write a few articles about what a conflict is from the point of view of psychology, what it includes and how one can learn to cope with conflicts or not allow them.
I think that this material will benefit all my readers!

Conflictology is the science of the laws of origin, origin, development, the completion of conflicts of any level. Conflict is a very complex social and psychological phenomenon, the success of studying it largely depends on the quality of the initial methodological and theoretical assumptions, methods used. Solving the problems discussed below can help overcome the difficulties that have already arisen in connection with the definition of the essence of the conflict, the object and the subject of conflictology.

The most common are two approaches to understanding the conflict. In one of them, the conflict is defined as a clash of sides, opinions, forces, that is, very widely. With this approach, conflicts are possible in non-living nature. The concepts of "conflict" and "contradiction" actually become comparable in volume. Another approach is to understand the conflict as a clash of oppositely directed goals, interests, positions, opinions or views of opponents or subjects of interaction. It is assumed here that the subject of conflict interaction can be either an individual or people and groups of people.

Causes of conflict:

1. Misunderstanding.
2. Misconceptions about the motives for committing an act.
3. Overwork.
4. Aggression by a person or a group of people.
5. Selfishness.
6. Inadequate assessment of the situation.
7. Difference in views on the solution of the problem.
8. Unwillingness to yield.
9. Inability to find a compromise.
10. Stingy character and personal qualities.
11. Maximalism in relation to others.
12. Inability to listen and hear others.
13. Envy.

The purpose with which I decided to write articles on this topic: To reduce the number of conflicts between people. I think that if we understand better what conflict is, how it arises and how to cope with it, then this knowledge will help us be more reserved and will save us from many difficulties.

Let's all live together in peace with each other !!!

I really like this, but not necessarily for resolving conflict between me and another person. Instead, I like it as most of my interest in writing or designing RPG campaigns revolve around conflicts. It's actually rather nice having a good understanding of tension between different people or factions.

That being said, I agree with you. May we all find true peace!

Thank you very much for your good words, @wesii ! Have a good day!!!

Nice post. I agree with you that conflict arises from misunderstading amongst the people,in society different types of people live and they wore different colors of shirts.

Thank you so much, @maya7!!!

Excellent, we need to understand conflict in order to create peace. Resteeming :)
