Dear Friends of Steemit! Thank you for voting! Your Elena

Good luck with this, Cheetah has been a broken bot, I know it has gone through positive changes through it's use but it is still broken. Other users have had many different complaints.

Seems pretty shitty that a robot makes you go to a private off-blockchain chat room so you can prove to it you are innocent when it is doing it's dirty work on blockchain in front of everyone. By the way, you might be "fake" or whatever, but as far as I have known and been following you post good content . Keep steeming on, it's just a bot being profited on by humans behind screens somewhere in a very sad way, good intentions, but when this stuff happens it sucks.
thank you very much friend! I will follow the link you sent to me

if you have a better solution to the identity theft problem on Steemit, I'm sure that a lot of people would be happy to hear what it is. Not doing anything is not a solution, unfortunately, as there are a lot of thieves trying to take advantage of the system and stealing rewards, meaning the real artists here (like Elena) would get a lot less. Which in turn would make them leave, disgusted to see that anyone can post anything to get the rewards while they are struggling to make a decent earning on their own posts. It's better to have an imperfect solution (and admit when cheetah goes wrong, and fix it) rather than just ignore the problem and wish it goes away by itself (it won't)
Maybe having a broken solution trying to conform their posts to it's rules isn't the best solution.
If you have a better solution, we're all listening, please enlighten us.
Turn off the robot until it is fixed. I have suggested this many times when the cheetah bot was not nearly as good as it is, because it is heavily improved imo. I'm sorry to re-say the solution that is not enlightening at all, it's sadly really simple, don't use broken stuff it will turn away users and potential users who have not even joined the site specifically. The potential users are the most important ones and there is no analytics to track how many we are not getting on Steemit.
I am a fan, and I hope that this gets resolved quickly!
Hi Elena, Cheetah is a program that tries to detect people "stealing" other's people work and flagging them. This is a very helpful service for Steem, as there are a lot of people trying to take advantage of the system, but sometimes (as in your case), it can make errors. Please don't worry about it, just clear things up with the steemit-abuse team, and things will soon get back to normal.
Thank you very much for your answer!
Ah man so I've been talking to a bot! Lame!
Well Elenasteem until any one proves otherwise you have my vote keep it coming!
Thank you!
Did you go to Steemit.chat like @cheetah says in its post? That will probably help.....
I wonder if a person recoups lost earnings from posts it had wrongly flagged
Probably not....but you can upvote one of their other posts to make up for it😉
You could also add the date in your message, to prove it is a recent photo, but it should be sufficient ;)
Did you also try to chat in #steemitabuse-appeals as they suggest ?
yes
Well so they need more people to handle those requests, I am sure it will be fine in a few time. Maybe not as fast as you'd like however..
That really sucks hon, I hope you get it sorted soon.
Run as you may! You cannot escape...the Almighty Bunghole!
@cheetah needs to shutdown and fix itself before it continues operating
