Hi Steemit! My acquaintance with followers. Be inspired by my illustrations and read interesting answers to questions!

Hello, I'm an animal painter and illustrator. I love animals and good fairy tales and try to combine these two passions in my work. The artist, after all, as a catcher of dreams and dreams - suffices for the tail ephemeral images of dreams and dreams and embodies them on paper or canvas - that is why I chose the profession of an artist, because artists are almost magicians.

Friends my acquaintance with you continues. Today we invite you to plunge into the fairy-tale world of my heroes. My works were presented at various national and international exhibitions, they were issued in the form of thematic calendars, and they simply delight the eyes of thousands of fans. Be inspired by my illustrations and read interesting answers to questions!

How many years, from what city I am:

- I am 27 years old. I was born in 1989 in the city of Ussuriysk, but I live and work in Khabarovsk and I consider Khabarovsk to be my home and homeland.

How did my hobby for painting / painting begin:

- The passion for drawing came to me relatively late - at 6 years old. Up to this age I could only portray a "tornado". But at 6 years sharply began to appear drawings, which in quality were higher than the average figure of a child of my age. Since then, and draw.

Where they studied fine art:

- I graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty (HGF) in the Far Eastern State University for the Humanities (FENU).

My graduation work - why I chose Taiga:

- In general, in the first year I knew for sure that I would take subjects with animals for the thesis, because I'm an animal painter first of all. Since I live in the Far East - in the taiga region, and I'm a patriot and very fond of our magical nature, in which the south meets the north, my choice was not difficult. I decided to paint animals endemic, inhabitants of our northern jungle. Therefore, I performed a series of graphic sheets with cats of the Far East taiga. And this is a tiger (an amba - so they call the tigers in the Far East, the "amba" from Nanai means big), the Far Eastern leopard and the lynx.

Who are the main characters of my paintings and why:

- Now I have several favorite topics. The first one is an owl. They are funny and for easy storylines like no one approaches. And they have absolutely amazing eyes - they can see the reflection of the universe, as in the feline. The second horse and unicorns. Horses are wonderful creatures - they can not be disliked, their grace can not be admired. Unicorns - in my opinion, these creatures are the embodiment of a fairy tale. They seem to be filled with ancient light sadness - like a beautiful old legend. I also love mystical female images - hence a series of works with witches, nymphs, goddesses and so on. I like to depict animals. Hence the series "The Life of the Forest Folk" and "Giraffe Marius".

My favorite character:

- My favorite character, probably, is still the giraffe Marius.

Where do I draw inspiration from:

- Most of all I'm inspired by the work of other artists. And also some events and stories, legends and myths.

How did I come up with the idea to make a calendar and why was the topic "Secrets of the Nymphs" chosen:

- The idea came after I ordered 3 illustrations for the calendar (September, October, November) - they said that the topic could be anything. I decided to present these months as girls nymphs. The idea is not new, and such allegories have already been drawn to me and will be painted hundreds of times. After I completed the order, it became interesting for me to draw other months already for myself. Thus, the idea arose to create an author's calendar with nymphs-months. My friend told a journalist and a storyteller, I asked her to write fairy tales for my drawings. The idea of

the calendar was the following: when the year is over, the calendar grid can be cut off on a special label and the calendar will turn into a book-album.

What materials for the fine arts are my favorite:

- The most favorite are color pencils and a graphic tablet.

What most influences my work:

- Myths, legends, good fairy tales, mysticism and some events, such as the brutal murder of a giraffe Marius in front of children in Switzerland (hence the series with Marius - I decided that, at least in my pictures, this giraffe will live - and enjoy life).

My recent discoveries among products for artists that I liked or pleasantly surprised:

- This graphic tablet is a gift for the illustrator, giving ample opportunities for creativity.

How is my workspace organized:

-I have a desktop easel - a very convenient thing for the graphic artist - since he allows you to place boxes with pencils, pastels and other things next to it. He stands on a special table reserved for him. While I'm working on the drawing, I do not remove the sheet from the tablet and pencils - everything is in untouched form, so that I can come up any minute and start drawing without wasting my time preparing and getting endless boxes and cases. Preparation sometimes kills the desire to draw, so I keep it to a minimum. The graphic tablet is on the working computer desk. It only needs to connect and open the program. I must say that I always collect materials before I start drawing something. Therefore, I am often overwhelmed with photographs and other things - with visual images and maps.

In what atmosphere do I prefer to create:

- In tranquility. I do not like being pulled and distracted by this - it does not allow me to plunge into work. But, not in silence. I usually include background music or a movie. But if necessary, I can draw on the battlefield! The work has taught me, since I work in the editorial office and often we have students hanging out or someone is sorting out the relationship, laughing, yelling music - I learned to ignore all this noise.

Some are afraid to start drawing. They say that "I still can not get beautiful, I should not take it" or "I just do not know where to start." My advice:

- In that case, probably, it is not necessary to begin. Drawing should also be like breathing, eating and sleeping. Biological requirement. Otherwise, there is no point in doing this (professionally I mean!)

What books, art albums, Internet resources are my source of inspiration and helpers:

- From books this is the basis of Lee's "Academic Drawing." Also albums with reproductions of masters -classics. And resources - on the Internet they are completely straight. Something specific is difficult to distinguish.

My hobbies besides drawing:

- I like reading, watching movies (especially in cinemas), listening to music (I'm a music lover). Cook.

Are you hosting my own exhibitions:

- Yes, I had 2 solo exhibitions. And I participated in about 30 general - different levels. Regional, city, regional, all-Russian and international.

My further creative plans:

- Develop as an illustrator. I want to illustrate tarot cards, but this is a very large amount of work and I will take it for him not this year for sure. Also, if we talk about immediate plans, I'm going to release two new calendars. One of them is with owls.

I'm blogging to Steemitt to please you with my work. Steemit is now a part of life for me!

Thank you Steemit!

My most cherished dream:

- Become a good illustrator.

Wishes for you:

- I wish you to listen to your heart and, if something is important to you, there is some kind of dream for which your heart beats, go to it. There is nothing impossible - it all depends on how much effort and time you spend to realize your dreams!

Елена, вы такая умница и оооочень талантливая девушка! Серия рисунков о тайге напомнила мне иллюстрации к старым советским книгам о приключениях, словно я снова открыла "Листы каменной книги". Просто потрясающе! :D
