"Just add love" - A Story in 50 words
"How does it taste?"
She beamed expectantly and he fought his gag reflex with every ounce of will to swallow the dry lump of whatever ungodly concoction it was she'd made this time. He only hoped his grimace would be mistaken for a smile.
"It's delicious, baby, I love it."
I think that with enough practice and encouragement, anyone can learn to cook. It takes some of us longer than others though 😉. I'm more motivated to learn now than I've ever been before and I'm making progress but sometimes what I make is not exactly completely... edible. But unlike what happens in this story, I don't force those attempts on others 😅. Oh, did you guess the random word? It was "grimace".
