Krampus, this kind of demon that you see in the illustration, is one of the most fascinating creatures of Austrian mythology. This demon enters the homes of bad children, puts them in a sack and takes them to hell. Today I drew a female version, which only takes men who misbehave. Luckily I always behave. "Lady Krampus." She is a less monstrous, but equally punitive, version of the folk demon, wielding her birch branches to punish the evil men she captures in her basket.
