Official Report: Emergency Response on Hurricane in Bayu and Verification in Tanah Jambo Aye, North Aceh [50% steem.amal]

Recently, a severe storm hit Syamtalira Bayu sub-district, North Aceh, and its surroundings, causing several houses that were affected by it to be heavily damaged. One of them is the house that belongs to Syahren Amran and his wife Nurbaidah. The heavy rain and storm hit their house on May 30th, 2021, and there is no support received yet so far. They have 5 children. Steem.amal emergency response team led by @heriadi conducted a survey on Tuesday, May 1st, 2021, and directly reported to me as the steem.amal program manager. After an online meeting with team leader @anroja, we decided to respond and support the family with steem.amal emergency budget. The total budget allocated is Rp. 3,000,000 (30 SBD). The cash assistance will be handed over on Friday, June 4th, 2021. The emergency response team has been briefed and they are preparing to deliver the aid to the owner of the house while conducting a second assessment for further steem.amal response. The recent condition of the house can be seen in the pictures below

The team also coordinates with the local authorities to gather more information about the family's economic situation for the assessment of suitable aid that needs to be provided to ensure the financial sustainability of the family.

Verification Survey In Tanah Jambo Aye, North Aceh:

The North Aceh team has conducted a preliminary assessment in Tanjong Ceungai Jambo Aye North Aceh. The beneficiary is Nanawati a woman with diabetes mellitus who is financially struggling to support daily needs. Her husband Ayub is a farmer and they have an eight-year-old child. One of her feet finger has been amputated a few months ago in Cut Meutia Hospital (Lhokseumawe). She is living in her sister's house for better care while her home is a side of her sisters. The steem.amal will support the Economic Development Program as this support is more suitable for covering her long-term medical treatment. The program is chicken farming with the approximately budget is as below:
