The Diary Game #32: Share your day with us! Went to Church and Danced

Hello steemians, I am glad to share how my yesterday went. As we know yesterday was Sunday and to some in the Catholic church it was palm Sunday. I will be sharing how my day went in my diary game.

Morning

I woke up quite early and headed to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth. I had pressed my dress with electric iron the previous night. I always love to have my Sunday dressed properly arranged like my mom taught me.

After bathing I went to the veranda to sweep the dirt, I also swept the entire outside while humming a song. Humming makes the work easier for me. I finished sweeping then proceeded to the kitchen to have breakfast of rice and stew,then I went to the room to put on my Sunday dress.

By now everyone was ready and my dad entered the car and we all drove to the Redeemed Christian Church of God which is our family church.
It was a wonder time in God's presence,the choir ministered heart rending songs and thereafter we had praise and worship session. I put on my dancing shoes and danced very well.

The next thing was a sermon by the pastor who is a woman. She preached about the importance of Jesus's death and his resurrection. She reiterated that as Christians we should be able to emulate the life of Christ not only to our loved ones but also to ours enemies.

Afternoon

The service ended by 2pm and we headed home after meeting other members and exchanging pleasantries. On our way home my dad bought me some popcorn and a bottle of coke. This was very satisfying as the weather was very hot, I gulped down the coke thirstily.
When we got home, I immediately entered the shower to bath again because I was feeling so hot from the heat outside.
After my shower I climbed the bed and slept off because I was tired from dancing in church.

Evening

I woke up later by 6pm and it was already dark. I went to the kitchen and ate my dinner which was afang soup my favorite. My phone was dead because of low battery but after eating light was restored and I charged it immediately. I went to the bathroom and washed my undies then I swept the kitchen and went to join my sisters in the sitting room.

While at the sitting room I helped my sister make her hair as we watched some movies.
Unfortunately the electricity was cut off due to heavy wind which signifies rain.
