We started our day a little later than we expected today. After settling everything, we drove to the most historical place…Bulguksa temple in Gyeongju. Gyeongju is a city on South Korea's southeast coast, it is known for its historical remains.

Before entering the place, we need to bow to the statue to pay our respects.

Bulguksa temple is a scenic historical getaway. We paid 5,000 won admission fee and everything was worth it. The building itself is astonishing. The construction of Bulguksa was initiated by Prime Minister Kim Dae-Seong, the 10th year king of Gyongdeok. The temple served as a center of Silla Buddhism and of prayer for the protection of the country from foreign invasion. There were lots of wishes hanging from the ceiling with lotus flower lantern.

My friend told me there’s a myth says that, when you drink water from the mountain spring, you will have better health... I quench my thirst with a sip of water.

It was funny that, at first, I drank the dirty water until an old couple passed by and told me I should drink the water from the lion's mouth.

How cold is it there now? I mean like bone biting cold or bearable? I'll be going there next month.

I went to Seoul and Busan. Busan is around 4-8celsius. Seoul is about 1-4 celsius

That's very cold... LOL!

The pictures that you have taken really looks beautiful. Visiting historical places like this is the best part when visiting another country. Thank you for sharing this.

You are very welcome. Thank you for your compliment too^^

Beautiful.
