My evergreen playlist track for today is Sweet Thing by Rufusan American funk band from Chicago, Illinois, featuring Chaka Khan as the lead vocal.

The song which was written by Chaka Khan, was released in 1975 and is said to be the first single that brought the group into the limelight.
The group, Rufus is best known for launching the career of lead singer Chaka Khan.

There is something about music from the 70s through the 90s.
Back then, music was done with so much passion and story that you immediately feel what the singer is talking about.

I personally think great music kinda ended with the 90s.

I am glad I got to experience so many good music that spanned every genre known to man.

There is no denying the sweet things of life that gets us running excitedly and with so much conviction.
You cannot deny love and when you do allow it have it's way, you will be the better for it because there is so much to be gained when you are in that state of mind.
