My Evergreen Playlist: Beat it.

in #music5 years ago

My Evergreen Playlist track for today is Beat it by Michael Jaxkson and it was released in 1982 form his sixth studio album, Thriller

I Feel Blessed!

"Beat it" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and received the 1984 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, as well as two American Music Awards. It was inducted into the Music Video Producers Hall of Fame. The single, along with its music video, helped propel Thriller into becoming the best-selling album of all time.- Source.

I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson's music and dance style because if you grew up in the 70s and 80s, there is no way you won't be influenced by his works.

The video of the song also shares some very useful story about how cool it was to be in gangs those days and whenever they had disputes, they settle it over dance battles. Also, did you see the leather jackets and the curls? Men, you gotta love the 80s men.

I wish the world can learn to settle disputes with dance battles and instead of shedding blood, they should shed sweat and put out good skills. There is nothing like some good old dance fight.

Take it or leave it, the 80s was one of the best eras in pop culture and everything good about soulful story telling music.
When next you have a dispute with someone, take them to the dance floor, square it out and tell them to "beat it"

Make the world a better place for someone today!
