The abuse is aggravated due to it's combination of bid bot abuse.
@eirik, it doesn't thrill but I am going to have to campaign for your rewards to be flagged and being to the bid bot blacklists for this wildly irresponsible "promotion.
There is no excuse for that behavior and those rewards rightfully should be returned to the reward pool. What you did was wrong on so many levels.
I would humble yourself at this moment and refrain from trying to point the finger elsewhere such as you had in your recent post.

First of all, I feel flattered that you choosed me over anyone else just because of a few posts I did this way. I screwed up, yes, but to answer your question from the previous post - I actually do think I should be rewarded for these. It took me more time (digesting, checking, listening, deciding what is the best) than it would take me to write a few sentences about something and slap some rewards to it. You can think it was a blatant copy-paste, but that is because you don't have the whole picture.
Obviously I will not do it again, but this whole situation is really far-streched and huge fuss is made over pretty much nothing. It would be different if this would be happening for weeks or months and with much higher potentional rewards, but it was not.
It's sad, but in reality you can't win till there are promotional services and not the real curators like there were before. I don't call myself an abuser because everything I did till now was original, but seriously I don't even understand people plagiarising when they can just write a few lines about their kitchen table and it would count as an original content and thus they would be able to put some rewards on it. Even being banned from using these services only mean making a new account. The problem lays in these services offering just too good deals, but that is just my opinion.
I checked what I am upvoting through smartsteem just right now - https://steemit.com/forestsunset/@ariyan1/sunset. It's almost exactly what I was talking about. He is also posting these just with one tag and just one daily so not many people will see it, wink wink.
It's up to you now. You can go and catch the real farmers or you can just let another actual long-term user leave the platform because without these services the posts are unbelievably hidden so it's not even worth it to make them. And honestly even writing this took me a pretty long time so If you don't mind I am going to upvote myself and you can flag it if you disagree.

You make a good point. Yes, it is trivial for abusers to create a new account and start over. You know what really makes a difference. Affecting their payout so the abusers end up losing funds.
That is arguably the most effective deterrent. When we hurt their wallet, the lesson is learned rather quickly.
As for you.If you want to share content that isn't yours, you decline rewards. It's simple.
Adding a sentence really doesn't justify the rewards and you know it. So, let's stop being disingenuous and stop trying to deflect to other users. Own up and propose how you are going to fix this.
Also, if you have an abuser to report, then report it. Just selling your votes to this user is compounding the problem of abuse on Steem. It's difficuly to take seriously someone complaining about an issue when that person bears responsibility in enabling it.
