The stars are almost right

Inevitably at this time of year, as the leaves fall and decay. Nights close in, unveiling the unfathomable depths of the universe. I find myself drawn the the eldritch tomes of Lovecraft, the very seed of modern horror.

Not the gore fests and blunt terror which we can easily identify. Rather that the human mind cannot accept. Only glimpse a suggested clue in the darkest shadow the true terror.

These remind me not to become to distracted by the daily woes of our kind the political and corporate corruption, banks, terrorists and globalisation.
These remind me to look into the nights sky so that I can feel the presence of true evil and torment that waits for us.
These remind me that one day the stars will be right.

H.P Lovecraft is one, who not only looked into the void but relayed a warning to us all. Encrypted in his short tales under the mask of fiction a mere flash of reality. Maybe in these coming long nights you could find a few hours to look in to the void through his eyes.
