What is the point? What if we all just decided to love each other over these 'traditions'? Bimbilla weeps

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Feeling really down and my troubleshooting revealed it was a lack of peace so it's with immerse pain I write.
My intentions for putting forth this article and expressing my sincerest of passions is not to prove I'm right.
I know several people much bigger and brighter than me have tried to no avail at solving this societal plight.
Well, if we were all to fold our hands and sit just because greater men failed at it how will we ever end this fight?

All it takes is for us all to agree that each day we would contribute some small water for the plant of peace.
I sincerely believe this is the way forward if we do not want to divide this land of rich history apiece.
Yesterday as I walked by, spreading my word of peace I came across this man who claimed we cant be there again.
It sent some shivers down my spine and when I recovered I only wondered, in this, what does anyone gain?

It is not about my age or my wits but the true desire to see our land back up again so don't call me young.
It is not easy to be the Christ of the 21st century but we should keep trying, anything for peace in never wrong.
Let'ts remember our actions have consequences and when the doom day ever comes none have wings to fly.
Let't think deep about this and give peace a chance or how long do we want to see our innocent children cry?

It looks like everyone is waiting for someone to do something about what is causing everyone pain.
I'd been wondering who was responsible for taking care of our town and its traditions since eighteen.
Bimbilla my beloved town of the great, our children needs peace in order to settle in school and learn.
We have condemned ourselves to the affliction of self hatred, but do we destroy our children's chance to earn?

My name is Ehm Kannde, a young medical student studying laboratory medicine and I care deeply about the woes affecting the community that raised me into who I am today and I have pledged to use all the means I can to continue spreading the word of peace wherever I find myself.

My town was stricken by violence over a chieftaincy huddles that has outlived its usefulness yet the fights lingers. How is the government to help solve this for us when we have taken staunch positions unwilling to make compromises of any kind for the sake of the peace we all claim to seek?

In my community age is respected so much that if you are 24 as I am, nobody gives you attention talk less of taking your opinions seriously but I think the current issues affecting us needs current mindsets.
The elders of my land have watched helplessly as the crisis keep rising higher and higher yet they claim they have all the 'wisdom'.
This is not meant to insult their intelligence but to express a complete dissatisfaction in their application of it in the matter that is touring our beloved kingdom into pieces.
I wished I had a loud speaker to pour these words out on the streets but I don't and even if I did people would probably call me insane.

Well, it is true, I am insane, but why should I not be? Have my people given me any other choice? When you go anywhere hands are being pointed to you not for good reasons but because probably a week ago someone's house was burnt in your home town or something of a sought.

Should we the youth sit and fold out hands? I think that this lands is more of ours now than it is of our elders. In the natural order we shall grow to inherit the land and do we have to inherit it with it problems?

#Bimbilla will rise again in our efforts.
