Down with sickness

I remember my first year in the medical school when we were asked to define a disease. Lots of my mates jumped straight to raising their hands just because it seemed a very easy question to answer.

After the lecturer selected a few of them to answer we saw the number of hands in the air decline until no one had their hands in the air any longer.
You know that basic definition that a disease is the state of ab-normalcy where the body is not able to perform normal functions. Yes, all that was said and still it was not enough for the lecturer.

After a while we all decided to unanimously ask him for his own definition. I am very sure I opened the Wikipedia definition in my phone and someone answered with that and it still got bounced.

Then he decided to now save the situation in order that we could continue into the real lesson. He said all our definitions were partly correct but what it could not answer was confusion. Is confusion a disease or not? well he told us confusion was a disease but when someone is confused all their body functions are normal but this is as a result of deficiency of the right information for the right situation.

The context of this article rests in the fact that I agree with the lecturer that confusion is a disease. When a person is therefore afflicted with a disease of a kind we describe the person as sick.
Even though I may be strong, well in all sensible body functions and mentally sound which qualifies me as a healthy person I still think I am sick. I am sick with confusion.

I was not in the crypto world until I joined Steemit and frankly I have been overwhelmed recently with so much information that has the capacity of transforming my believe system and this has left me rather confused than trilled. I don't know how to handle this and I am not even sure anyone can understand my situation.

This sickness would have consumed me but I think I got better after realizing that the whole world is in this state with me over this revolution. It has been almost 10 years into memory lane since Satoshi Nakamoto brought in this concept that has revolutionized the definition of money. I realized even the world is still in struggle to grasp this new world order. Most are scared to touch this because of the massive world wide adoption.

Most of the world leaders have no idea how this works and how it will affect the world economy and this puts everyone in the state sickness called confusion. This has made it normal because in this constant state of confusion there is order. I know that it is only an opportunity that should never be missed. The only way to deal with a revolution is to get involved.

Just moments before December I was not afflicted with this sickness and didn't really care. I use to hear bitcoin everywhere but as to whether it was a deadly virus or a new drug of HIV/AIDS I could not tell. Now I have seen the wonderful works this new system is doing.

Steem for example is an emotional currency that is alive and breathing. You and I form Steem with our attention and energy. Participative investment is what I would call it and that is what I think it is.
I was going to use some of my Steem to buy other coin but was asking myself, in this state of confusion am I sure I'm ready to get engrossed?

Then I decided to declare my sickness here so perhaps someone who knows his way around could take me up and deal with me as a patient. What should I do with this crypto confusion? Which directions should I take? How do I balance my offline career with this attention demanding investment?
