Bullies and Bombastic Bastards

in #life7 years ago

As we look at how the United States (US) attempted to threaten, bully, and blackmail the United Nations (UN) into accepting a decision that none of the United Nations accepts we are forced to ask one question. Do bullies and bombastic bastards win? The only answer anyone who looks at history can come up with is no. They always lose. If the current US administration thinks they are actually going to be able to bully people, as their poorly educated leader has always done in business, they are sadly mistaken. Additionally, they are fools. Which, goes without saying and I almost regret saying it as it is so obvious that they are fools.
When one looks at the unqualified nature of the vast majority of the administration, it becomes obvious why one cannot expect them to act with any understanding of world affairs, as they do not know any of it. One would be hard pressed not to see the unprofessional and disingenuous core to almost every member of the administration and one would have to laugh. It is no wonder that the leader in question has failed so many times, in fact almost every venture he tried he failed, in his business life. No major banks will work with him, thus his ties and collusion with Russia. No actual real estate firms will go in on a venture with his, thus the massive amounts of bankruptcies. The truth is, Washington D.C. has never had a deeper, more scum riddled swamp than this administrations disgusting swamp.
Threatening the UN with the idea that only the US gives money and that the US would stop giving money is not only baseless, but also asinine. If the US stopped funding UN projects, the little good will among the populace of the world that the US has would quickly evaporate. If you think terrorist attacks are bad, you don't want that good will to go away. After all, dropping the UN support could encourage the UN to relocate all offices to Switzerland. This would not only be a blow to prestige and political clout of having the UN but would also kill thousands of jobs. The ripple effect upon the economy in New York City would be devastating. Of course, one would be hard pressed to think that this administration thinks of anything other than the current want or need. Like the child it really is.
No, someone somewhere will grab the UN Ambassador by the shoulders and shake some sense into her. Someone else somewhere else will try to babysplain (explaining things to someone not very intelligent or educated that acts like a baby) the value of not being a dick to the President as well. It is simply too stupid, even for this lot of losers, for the US to drop support for the UN, and the glory that being the leader of the UN has at a time when nothing is going right for the administration.
Bullies don't win. Bombastic bastards eat a lot of crow, and that will be happening here, again, soon.

As always, I am interested in your thoughts.

Cheers,

HE HEH!
