DTube Fitness Journey - Skipping!

Yo DTube Fitness Fanatics!

It's been a while since I've done a fitness post and I've dropped the ball a bit, as kickboxing classes have stopped for the summer and I've been moving house etc, etc!

During the kickboxing classes, I started skipping for the first time in my life, so I decided to get hold of a rope and practice at home.

Skipping is actually a really effective form of exercise and due to the rapid bouncing, it also gets your lymphatic system going, which is great for overall health.

Here is my first attempt since buying my new rope and, as you can see, much buffoonery occurs - with music to match!

Besides being believed to effectively burn body calories, skipping is also a relatively inexpensive sport. It only takes a jump rope, which is easily obtainable in many sports stores.
A study reveals, jump rope activity is one of the effective cardio movement, to lose weight. You only need to skip for 10 minutes every day.
The study showed, within six weeks, the participants had better cardiovascular health. The achievements are just as good as those jogging 30 minutes each day. Skipping at medium speed equals the effect for a run of eight minutes. In addition, jump rope also burns more kaleori per minute, and at the same time more effective to strengthen muscle than swimming or oars. Similarly, Professor and Cardiology Expert at the University of Connecticut Fitness Center, Peter Schulman believes, skipping good for the heart as well as providing many other benefits for the body.

"It can strengthen the upper and lower body, and burn a lot of calories in a short time," he said.

However, the calories burned depend on the style of jump doing.
