DTube Daily VLOG - The Big Global Phobia That Could Prevent Your DTube Success

In this video, I focus on one of the biggest fears in the world. This is held by so many people and, if you run it in any way, shape or form, it could really prevent you from creating content and putting it out into the world on platforms such as DLive.
It's the number two phobia in the world...fear of PUBLIC SPEAKING!
Number one is spiders by the way.
This can seriously impact not only on your ability to stand up in front of a crowd, but also on your producing videos, livestreaming etc.
This is because, subconsciously, it can bring the same feelings into your body that you felt when you first developed the fear of speaking in front of a crowd.
For many people, this was something like standing up in front of the class or forgetting your lines in a play and being laughed at - so school has a lot to answer for here.
So, how does this block you making videos? Well, it could trigger self-limiting beliefs, such as these:
- I have to be perfect
- People will laugh at me
- I'm not good enough
- It's dangerous to be seen
and many more.
I used to struggle with this myself. I certainly don't any more.
During this video, I give two examples of how this has affected people. The first is about a client who had this fear so badly, he would rather have been swallowed up by the ground than speak in front of people, until we resolved it and he was able to do a best man's speech at his brothers wedding.
The second is my own story and how I resolved it.
Tomorrow, I will follow this up with the remedy - a guided tapping meditation to find the root cause of any fears you might have around this and release your emotional attachments to them.
