DTube Daily VLOG - Resolve Your Emotional Blocks To Creating DTube and Steemit Content

in #dtube8 years ago

Greetings Steemazoids and DTubers

Yesterday, I shared a simple process that you can use to get into creative flow and actually get some ideas or writing down in a short period of time.

However, what if you are still finding yourself stuck?

Procrastinating?

Or worse, doing the washing up and mopping the floor, rather than getting your articles and VLOGs on the platform?

Today, I share how you can explore your feelings about getting creative (or your inability to do so) and use them to uncover some of your deeper emotional blocks and beliefs.

You can then use this information to create YOUR OWN personal tapping script to release your attachment to these old stories and have greater freedom to create what you want.

It is definitely possible that this will uncover some past events. If this happens, you can use the elegant and effective EFT Movie Technique to thoroughly resolve their impact on your life. Find out how to do it here - https://steemit.com/dtubedaily/@eftnow/bfshthou

This process is designed for self help and many people have excellent results using it that way. However, it can accelerate things for you to work with a skilled and insightful practitioner.

If you would like some one-to-one support to resolve your emotional blocks and create more of what you desire in your life, message me via Steemit Chat or by email at [email protected] and we can have a chat about it.

DISCLAIMER - While I know that most of you are consenting adults and accept full responsibility for yourself, please note the following:

This video is for entertainment only and you need to take full responsibility for your physical and emotional health if you decide to tap The techniques that we are using are experimental and while they are usually very gentle and some people appear to have experienced excellent results, it is not possible to know in advance how an individual will respond. Tapping techniques may bring old memories and emotional responses to the surface and this can feel very powerful. As with all practices, whether complementary or normal medical/psychological, results can never be guaranteed. You are not recommended to ignore any medical advice and your primary care giver is always your GP.

Wishing you freedom, happiness and Steemy success!

Great work Sam :)
When you started with the finger tapping, I immediately connected those points with the mudras that I use in meditation. I then, without any thought or intention, matched your finger tapping, finger for finger, as you were talking, then when you mentioned how windy it was, a huge gust of wind came from nowhere, and the lemon tree started bashing its branches against the shed, in which I was sitting.
It seems that we can tap into much more
than we take credit for.
Peace.

Yes indeed Bob. The finger point tapping is similar to the Yoga Mudras.

Yup - we can create what we feel!

Wow. I'm sure this could be a way to remember dreams. I can always remember a dream by focusing on how my body feels. If I think with my head, I can't remember but if I feel and just ask the question, "what was I dreaming about," the images flash in my mind's eye until I make them conscious.

Yup - it's all in there somewhere. The body is a great way in rather than trying to remember.

Interestingly, tapping can put you into a delta brainwave state - which is the same state you are in while in deep sleep, yet you are fully conscious. This is why it's so handy for accessing buried stuff, without having to go into hypnosis.

Being aware of your feelings and shortcomings and being able to improve yourself is impportant. Especially if you are about to bring new people into your life - e.g. starting a new relationship or expecting a child.

I still wasn't able to try it yet but Dr. Jordan Peterson, a clinical psychologist that teaches at the University of Toronto, has created a program that tackles these issues. It's called self-authoring and the idea is that you can learn most about yourself if you put your thoughts into words - e.g. writing or talking to others. The program is made up of three parts which give you question from three categories that you should be able to answer about yourself: the present (you write about your current situation and what you would like to change), the past (you write about your past and think about how you got here) and the future (you write about where you see yourself if you don't change your behaviour (your potential hell) and where you would actually like to get (a heaven on earth so to speak)).

The idea is great if you think about it. Everything we do has an effect on the future and we are going to have to deal with the consequences of our actions. So if you are unhappy with your current situation you need to think about how you got here - this present is the result of your past actions. If you continue doing the things that make your life worse then your future is going to be even worse than what you're dealing with right now. What you do now will have an effect on your future. We often like to shift the blame for the state of our affairs on external factors - "Why did this happen to me?" or "Why will no one give me a job?" etc.. But we have an influence - both positive and negative. Being able to deny yourself pleasures in the present for a better future is important.

The problem is that we often don't have the time to think about these things or don't know how to go about it.

As I said - I wasn't able to finish the program myself but if you think that this is something that might help you can learn more on https://selfauthoring.com/. If I keep on writing this is going to become a blog post.

Thanks for this very interesting post. I'm a fan of Jordan Peterson and I think he's a real leader in the field of critical thinking.

However, I think this process would be even more effective if you include Tapping techniques, as logic and willpower can only get you so far when you are dealing with ingrained subconscious B.S.

Most of our core beliefs are formed before the age of 6 and these memories are hard to consciously access, which is why many people do better with a subconscious emotional processing tool, such as EFT.

I'll have a look at his program, as I think combining it with emotional and energetic work could be great.

I've certainly been feeling the call to begin sharing more via video. Today, I tried to watch your video and I just get a spinning loading icon. I also decided to upload a video and...I keep getting an error that says, "No video with supported format and MIME type found." -- If you or anyone else has any insights to correct both issues, I would greatly appreciate that.

Lotsa Love, ~Tiki

Hi Tiki. I had that problem the first time. Here is the answer I got on Steemit.Chat

This worked for me, so I hope it helps - Hey, sometimes that can be because the default dtube setting will load the source file. If you are experiencing problems, inbetween the playback speed settings and the full-screen toggle there should be a option to change between source and 480p (This has been added in the past month so older videos may lack this feature)

you always have the best content
