How to create better written contents on steemit
Hello guys.
It's your potential blogger here again.
Few days ago I made a post explaining how you can also become a success on steemit without actually been a writer, but my today's post is going to be on how to write better contents.
Writing good stuff on steemit has proven to be a major problem for minnows. Today we are going to be looking at how to improve your writen posts by following these easy steps.
step 1
Select a topic you're passionate about
It is not enough to just pick your pen and write on anything that comes to your mind..., you must also make sure that you have picked an interest in what ever you're posting. This is because you naturally tend to have a lot of points and contributions to the topic when you're passionate about it.
step 2
target an audience
When you post something, always have a target audience in mind. For me right now it is minnows and other times poets. And this brings us to the topic of your tags. Always endeavor to use the right tags.
step 3
do your homework
It is very important you do your research before you make any post. Make sure your stats are updated and correct. And if it's a post you don't have to research on like a poem or a story, make sure you spend time cross checking it.
step 4
make it simple
It is very important that you make your post very simple and understandable. Limit or totally avoid the use of professional jargons.
step 5
give credit to whom it is due
Do well to mention important contributors to your work. If the need to quote someone emerges; please reverence who ever you're quoting.
step 6
spend as much time as you need creating your content
It is important to note that a well created work gives you a better payout. So the least you can do is put in as much time as necessary in creating your post. Remember quality bring visibility according to @bait002.
step 7
do not plagiarize
As far as creative writing goes, this is the almighty rule that mustn't be broken. If you break this rule your work will be rendered useless and the credibility of your future works will be at stake.
So guys these are my seven rules to creating better contents. Follow them accordingly and you'd be on your way to stardom.
