Crypto Art & Design Challenge [Round 9: IOTA]
Hello everyone, here is my entry to the contest inspired by the artwork David by the artist Miguel Angel
The David is a white marble sculpture of 5.17 metres1 high and 5572 kilograms of mass,2 made by Michelangelo Buonarroti between 1501 and 1504 on behalf of the Opera del Duomo of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. The sculpture depicts the biblical King David at the time before he confronted Goliath, and was welcomed as a symbol of the Republic of Florence in the face of the hegemony of its overthrown leaders, the Medici, and the threat of the adjacent states, especially the Papal States.
The David is one of the Renaissance masterpieces according to most historians,3 and one of the most famous sculptures in the world.45 It is currently on display in the Gallery of the Academy of Florence,6 although it was located in the Piazza della Signoria in the Tuscan capital until 1873; since then a 3-metre copy has also been erected in white marble.
