On this happy night, I want to make my post about "We don't know when death comes".

Death is the discharge of one's life from his body.

Death is the creation of Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta’āla to examine who among us is best in practice.

He is sunnatullāh for every soul, however he tries to escape from death.

Allāh said:

ﻛُﻞُّ ﻧَﻔْﺲٍ ﺫَﺍﺋِﻘَﺔُ ﺍﻟْﻤَﻮْﺕِ ۗ

"Every soul will feel death." (Surah Ali Imran: 185)

One does not know when and where he will die.

And when it comes, the death cannot be delayed.

Often remembering death is a matter ordered by the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

It is hoped that by remembering death, someone:

More khusyū 'in worship.
Hurry up to repent.
And not neglect of the pleasures of this mortal world.

Rasūlullāh shallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:

ﺃَﻛْﺜِﺮُﻭﺍ ﺫِﻛْﺮَ ﻫَﺎﺫِﻡِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﺬَّﺍﺕِ

"Let you multiply remember something that breaks all delights." (Hadith narrated Tirmidhi, Nasāi, Ibn Mājah, said Shaykh Al Albāni: "hasan shahīh").

The hope of every Muslim is to die in a state of husnul khātimah, which is to die in a state of obedience to Allāh, the way is:

By praying.
Maintaining obedience to Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta’āla during his life.

In a saheeh hadith narrated by Tirmidhi, Rasūlullāh shallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam reported that:

Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta’āla if he wants good for someone who is a servant, he will be given taufik to do good deeds before he dies.

⇒ And among these good deeds is saying lā ilāha illallāh.

Rasūlullāh shallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:

ﻣﻦ ﻛﺎﻥ ﺁﺧﺮ كلامه ﻻ ﺇﻟﻪ ﺇﻻ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺩﺧﻞ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ

"Whoever his last utterance is lā ilāha illallāh then he will enter heaven." (Hadith shahīh narrated by Abū Dāwūd rahimahullāh)

Addicted to committing sins, both openly and secretly without being accompanied by repentance, is feared to be the cause of sūull khātimah.

May Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta’āla cleanse our hearts of dependence with sin.
