Music is capable of arousing unique emotions and sensations. You've probably heard someone sing in an unknown language, but you still get to feel what they want to convey, even if you have no idea what the lyrics say. What you do know is that it is expressing something joyful, or sad, or dramatic. Without realizing it, looking for in it a container for feelings that overwhelm us a place where they can overflow freely without harming anyone. We also look for melodies to work on, to reassure us or easily, to de-stress us. Here's one of my songs, which I wrote just at a time when I needed to release some pressures that bothered me.
