Hungry love or Hungry Stomach?
"I will survive, Oh as long as I know how to love, I'd know I'd be alive" this lyric really brought my mind being a thoughtful person for a while. I don't know whether am I being an overthink person for thinking such lyrics like that? When comes to lyric I do my own understanding before proceeding into the real meaning of a song.
That song lyric was from 'I will survive by Gloria Gaynor' But I prefer much to the cover rather than original. If you happen to know this band called CAKE, they cover the song elegantly. It made the song steadily, groovy and calm. Okay back to the lyrics again. That particular line was in my mind every time whenever I listen to that song.
How could you only know how to love and you know will alive? Can you survive with love without eating? I'm pretty sure you need food before love. Because a hungry stomach could possibly the worst nightmare rather than a hungry of love. You cannot defeat a hungry stomach. If you had much love, why not show your love by giving food to those who are seriously need food? That's shows how lovely you are. If you see a cat or a dog looking at you while you are eating, what are you going to do?
This is my point of view, I am sure some won't agree with my opinions but I respect it since it's your right and your own opinion too. But I surely believe a hungry stomach gave much lesson than a hungry love.
