INTRODUCTION

Technology has taken us all to a whole new world, we call it the Digital World. Even everything is digital, these days. From the laws of nature to the deepest of emotions. Technology has changed our lives. No one has time for the other person. We forgot our roots and stand like some machine with maximum productivity but no love, no emotion, no nothing. However, it has sparked some lives and is very important for the growth of our world. I don't see a bridge in between to balance technology and a human heart. As far as Children are concerned I have listed my Observations Below-

Some of my Observations on TECHNOLOGY

• First thing, I would say is that Children these days are not healthy and they are tiresome. I have seen kids in my neighbors and here and there and they are like not playing at all. Even if they come outside they are talking about playing video games. I use to play volleyball and other games and just watching the elders play gives a big pump. Today If I ask a kid to pass the ball he will probably ignore me.
• I was in my friend's home working on our new social media project and suddenly his cousin visit us. he was 8 years old and asked my friend if he can have his phone. We sat in the same room for 2 hours and he literally just played games on the phone and did not talk to us. His only answers were Yes or No, which we asked.
  

Points, I consider Negative of Technology

Children are more like to get exposure to adult content via technology. You see, children these days are using Social Media and there is so much negativity on the Internet. Children are more likely to imitate what they see, so if they saw someone seducing, then what happens? If they saw, someone, killing or hunting, what will they do? If they saw someone abusing, what will they think? Even, some mothers today give phones to their children so that they can scroll through theirs.

Threats of Suicide, Games are considered to enrich our productivity and make us relax. However, playing games all the time is not adequate. In recent years, we have heard of so many cases where children suicide because of games. Some of the reasons were exploitation by others, not achieving the ranks and so much addiction. Children were bound to do criminal acts under the guidance of bad people and parents were not aware. These kids are the ones who become depressed and lose hope at some point in their life.

Children Not Doing Physical Activities these days and they are dull. I see mothers these days will stop their children to play on the Playgrounds because of the fear of mosquitoes but will hand over a big smartphone and not be aware of what the children are doing. Parents will send their kids to Several different classes and not let them play with other kids, maybe they wanted to create him like a robot. Parents are also technical gurus these days, rather than playing cricket in actuality, they are teaching their kids to play on play station. Rather than playing football, they teach them to draw balls on computers. Education is good but playing is also important for kids. Technology is good but only if you know how to use it.

Positivity in Negativity

There are many positive aspects of technology considering children's life. You can make your children's future-ready by teaching them new skills with the help of Technology. Give you an example of AI machines used in sports these days like cricket. They calculate and observe their posture and it helps them to improve.

Children can now take part in several digital well-being programs which are made especially for children to bring a better mindset out of them via Video Conferencing and technology plays a vital role in it. Children can also interact online via zoom meetings with their family members and relatives who are sitting far from home, or ask for help with homework from their best friend or teacher, etc.

Conclusion

In the end, I would say, Technology is both a boon and a bane in children's life. And Technology is a tool and is created by human beings and it is there to help our lives and better our lifestyle. The Impact of Technology is very direct on children and as I said earlier, it is us how we use technology. Parents should monitor their kids or have parental control active on their technical gadgets. Also, parents should also play with children in real-time and not become virtual moms or dads. Children are like flower petals and should be treated that way. Too many tech gadgets can spoil their childhood and they are more likely to get diseases like depression, anxiety, dullness, nervousness, etc.

Remember, Technology is our creation and we are not its product. We should not be slaves to technology and especially the children. Let the kids play, let them learn the way it comes naturally.
