James Blake 'Retrograde' - Cover by Ed Privat

James Blake is one of the best composer of this generation, so it was a real pleasure to cover one his song, it's called "Retrograde" from his album Overgrown

I played this album so many times, it got released in 2013, it was the year when my son was born, and I just spent my days listening to some music, and trying to put him to sleep with very little success.
James Blake was one of the only artist that seemed to bring him a sense of peace, and to me too.

The entire album is mind blowing, the use of lofi/industrial sound really make it a special gem, I remember the first time i listened to it, not really liking it at all, it was too weird for me.
It took me a while to realize that the composer was going completely against the general consensus, creating his own style in the process.
My version is a mere reflexion of the original, go check it out !
