THE DIARY GAME || 16th January 2023 || Morning Routine, Laboratory work (Dissecting mosquito, Analyzing HCV samples.)

Hello, lovely steemians,

I am very delighted to deliver to this honorable community my daily activities. Just as every day has its good deeds and its activities, today also came with its activities. I am therefore very glad to share with you my daily activities for the day which is the 16 day of January in the year 2023. Today happens to be the first day of the week implying that there will be a lot of work and energy will be there to carry them out.

I woke up as early as 6:20 AM and I was able to do my morning routine on time as at 6:58, I was done with the house morning routine. I then went ahead to get me bathroom sleepers to go and take my bath. It took me a few minutes to be able to to finish taking my bath. I returned to the room and I apply pomade after which I got dressed and wore it. After I was done, I then check that all my electrical appliances were switched off and I left the house to work.

Just us normal, I spent a few minutes which was about 15 minutes walking to the Workplace. I was fortunate to have gotten a ride on the way to the place but I was almost there before I might be the rider. I went straight to the office too long in my details before reporting to work. I was supposed to clean all the working benches but I have been very fortunate to have received young and new students who are doing that on my behalf. I then went there to check if it has been done.

Upon several checks and in many of the rooms, I noticed the benches have been cleaned and I returned to my working bench. I realized I had some backlogs to clear on the samples I couldn't run the last time due to the training that came and interfered with. I quickly picked the needed items and started to work to receive them so that I can make good use of them. I was able to run the tests for all those that we were having a backlog for.

There was also the need to record the results and have copies at the lab which will help us to track those results in case there is a problem for us to solve. A copy of the results was given to the lab lead to give to the doctor for prescriptions. After I was done with that one, I had to continue to do some other things which include the process of dissecting to see the presence of mosquitoes and their availability.

When I got there, one of the staff was there classifying these organisms into various forms to ensure that they do not mix and are been stored in different categories. Fortunately, after some time, we left the place to bring more mosquitoes to be classified. With the help of this great entomologist, he separated them according to their classes.

After we were done doing that as well, we then kept them in the tubes with cotton below it and went to freeze them. They were left at minus 80 to ensure that they are strong and all biological activities stopped. Documentation was also made and kept in the achieve for reference purposes. It was time for us to close after doing other things. I then left the place to my house in other to be able to go and rest.
