The diary game // 26 January 2024 // A day spent at the Laboratory

Lovely steemians,

It is with great joy and happiness that I come your way to share with you my daily activities for the fifth day of the year 2024. Just as I always say, God is with us, and his strength and favor have found us once again. Thanks be to the Almighty God for always giving us his grace and keeping us going and coming. Come with me and let me visualize my day with you.

I was awake by 5:15 AM and because we did not go to the field, I had some basic things to do. I therefore quickly went ahead to get some things in the right order, I started by brushing my teeth because I did not do that yesterday before going to bed. Usually, I brush before going to bed and after waking.

The next thing for me to have done was to go and wash, however, I washed yesterday hence I was good to go. I then have to do something else in other to catch up with time. I continued with bringing out all the dirty utensils and I washed them.

In about 15 minutes, I was done with that too. I quickly have to use a rag to clean the place with soapy water. I was however fortunate to have finished all that on time hence I quickly fetched water and kept it on the fire.

I wanted to prepare tea from the water that I had kept on the fire when it was warm. However, I noticed I was not having the things for that. I then planned that I would get food when I went to the workplace.

I went again to the room this time around to take my bath. I was able to finish taking my bath in approximately 5 minutes. I had already ironed the dress I would wear hence all I did was jump into it when I came from the bathroom. I had also cleaned my shoes as well. Hence I was ready for work. I took my bag kept my laptop inside and left the house to work.

When I got to the workplace, I had to do other things which included logging in my details for coming to work. I then left the other things to carry out other work. I took the opportunity to also go and get some porridge from the porridge sealer at the workplace.

I was able to buy the porridge and I brought it to the lab to take. I spent a few days enjoying it. When I was done, I went to the lab and I brought out the available samples and began to work on them. It took me a few minutes to be able to work on the samples.

After doing all these things, we had to go to the laboratory meeting again because it was Friday. After several minutes of waiting, the laboratory meeting was brought to us for discussion.

Several minutes were taken to ensure that we carried them out to meet the ISO standards. The laboratory manager and the quality manager did have several communications before the issues themselves began. It was a meeting that lasted for quite several minutes.

When we were done, most of us were hungry so all we could do was to leave the place without the food. Fortunately, afterward, I went to the kitchen and there was food for me. This is because I had ordered it there for quite a long time. I am glad I had the opportunity to have gotten it.

When I was done, it was the day for which my institution would be going for a break. As a result, I went to buy a small bite by the roadside, and when I was done.

After all those things that happened, I went to the house to rest. After a few minutes of resting, I took my bath, got dressed, and came to the party. When I got there, members were ready and everybody was seated.

I sat among them and we enjoyed every aspect of this particular dinner. The most interesting part is that almost all of us were involved in enjoying that food. Later during the dinner, awards were given and I was fortunate we had someone from our department had an award.

We all enjoyed every single moment of the dinner and it was great that most members who were there enjoyed their time too as well. I was not happy about the fact that I did not get any drink.

This was because I did not want to take alcoholic drinks. I therefore have to take all that I could just like that. I took the food and ate it several times without getting drinks. I did get the drinks anyway. I took just the food and we all went to dance in various places. We then went to rest.
